“My appointment with Meagan wasn't a traditional bridal makeup service. I actually wanted a makeup and hair tutorial for the DIY bride. When I saw that Beauty En Route provided such a service, I was super excited. I had average knowledge of makeup and not much for hair styling. I ended up booking Meagan for 3 hours to help me plan how I would do my own hair and makeup and it was beyond worth it!
I felt Meagan was very helpful, explaining why a certain product is used and how to apply it and second, making me do almost all of the styling under her guidance which I'm so appreciative of. With my makeup look, Meagan and I discussed what I wanted to look like for my elopement ceremony and my usual skincare regime and makeup style. Again, she did a step-by-step guide on one half of my face and I followed with the other half. My makeup look turned out exactly how I wanted. Megan gave great tips on what I would need in terms of touching up and how to make my makeup last.
Meagan was so sweet and very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy on the need for specific brands. I now feel very confident in my ability to recreate the look for my big day and I also feel like I've learned new skills that I've already begun to apply into my routine.
